KINSHASA, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO (United News International) - Congolese radio reports a commando raid by government forces on the headquarters of Rwandan Hutu rebels who are responsible for the massacres of thousands of ethnic Tutsis in Rwanda over the past several months.

The move was in response to world outrage at the government of Preisdent Laurent Kabila who had previously done little to discourage the Hutu rebels from using the Congo as a base to launch raids into neighboring Rwanda.

World human rights leaders praised the action.
